Connecting your woodburning stove
Your woodburning stove is connected to the flexible flue liner via a flue pipe and flue adapter.
Flue connecting pipe diameter
The flue pipe diameter/size you require should be specified by the manufacturer of your appliance.
If you are in any doubt as to the size required - you should contact the manufacturer.
A - The flue connecting pipe. The diameter is an external measurement.
B - The flue collar is part of your stove, the flue connecting pipe fits inside this. The collar diameter is an internal measurement.
What flue liner diameter do I need?
Your appliance installation instructions should specify the flue liner diameter - If this is not clear - we recommend that you contact the manufacturer.
Some installations have a smaller flue pipe diameter than flexible flue liner diameter. An increasing flue adapter is used, in this instance, to join the smaller flue connecting pipe to the larger flexible flue liner.
The correct connecting adapter will be supplied when you choose your flue liner and flue connecting pipe size.
